Description:
Very high dry boiling point of 617F (325C) and a wet boiling point of 400F (204C).
For all types of hydraulic brake and clutch actuators requiring non-silicone synthetic fluid.
Specially designed to resist extreme temperature generated by racing brakes (carbon and ceramic) only allowing a minimal air entrance for brake cooling.
A brilliant upgrade on standard brake fluid for any track-bred vehicle, Motul RBF 660 goes well beyond all conventional DOT 3, 4 and DOT 5.1 standards, and goes one step further than Motul RBF 600 by minimising air entrance on your vehicle's brakes, stopping your brakes from going cool and promoting aerodynamic efficiency.
Motul's RBF Brake Fluid range is their ultimate high-performance brake fluid formula, utilizing their vast range of 100% Synthetic technologies to ensure unsurpassed boiling points and the resistance of extreme braking temperatures in all race conditions.
Motul RBF is one of the most popular brake fluid ranges used in Australian motorsport.

Extreme thermal resistance and stability :
Very high boiling point (325°C / 617°F), superior to conventional DOT 5.1 non silicone base / DOT 5 silicone base fluids (260°C / 500°F mini) and DOT 4 (230°C / 446°F mini).
Enables effective brake even in extreme conditions.
Better aerodynamic performance by reducing air entrance for brake cooling on cars.
Efficient when rainy :
Very high wet boiling point (205°C / 401°F) superior to conventional DOT 5.1 non-silicone base fluid (180°C / 356°F mini) and DOT 4 (155°C / 311°F mini) enables to keep efficient braking while rainy.
Brake fluids tend to absorb humidity from the air, which reduce boiling point and increase the risk to get to “vapor lock” phenomena.
The wet boiling point is measured by humidifying the product with about 3.5 % of water.
Exceeding the DOT standards of dry boiling point while ensuring rubber seal compatibility, Motul brake fluid delivers performance you can trust.
Before use always refer to the owner manual or handbook of the vehicle.
Please note RBF 660 is a high maintenance product.
It is very hydroscopic and requires brakes to be bled regularly. For a high performance weekend drive we would strongly reccomend the Motul 600 over the 660. If you are running big brakes or ceramic discs and pads and are used to doing regular changes and bleeds, then by all means the 660 will be for you.
The synergies between Motul and McLaren GT are evident: high performance,
quality, prestige and a long, successful history in motorsport. Following a successful association in 2016 with McLaren GT customer race team, Garage 59, a newly announced partnership sees Motul become the approved lubricant supplier of McLaren GT and its customer teams.
2016 was a successful debut year in the working relationship, with highlights including victory at the Bathurst 12 Hours in Australia, and a championship title in the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup.
The partnership will, from 2017, see Motul supporting six McLaren 650S GT3 models in the popular Blancpain Endurance Series and Blancpain Sprint Series – four entries in both championships from the British ‘Strakka Racing’ team – and two 570S GT4 entries in the British GT Championship with the ‘Black Bull Garage 59’ team.
Central to the deal is the technical relationship between the two companies, and products from Motul’s Motorsport Line range are now recommended to all new and existing customer teams. Among these products will be 300V Trophy 0W40 (engine oil), Gear 300 LS 75W90 (gear box oil) and RBF 660 (brake fluid).
Please note that due to it's hazard rating oil's cannot be sent via Australia Post, and must be sent via a courier.
